Lucid Dental Clinic announced that Dr. Hyun-min Park, its lead dentist, served as a judge for the Miss Earth Korea 2026 pageant, held in Seoul on the 25th.

Miss Earth is a prominent international pageant dedicated to raising awareness of environmental protection and promoting a sustainable future. Serving as the national selection event for Korea’s representative to the global competition, Miss Earth Korea evaluates contestants not only on their charm and individuality but also on their commitment to environmental causes.

One of the highlights of this year’s event was the screening of social contribution videos showcasing contestants actively participating in environmental initiatives, which received an enthusiastic response from the audience. The event’s environmental message was further reinforced through a “Climate Talk” session, where experts and contestants came together to discuss the climate crisis and explore practical solutions.

As a judge, Dr. Park evaluated the contestants from a holistic perspective, looking beyond appearance and placing particular emphasis on the authenticity of their environmental values and the way they communicated them.

“I was deeply impressed by the contestants’ dedication to expressing their individuality while demonstrating genuine concern for the environment through meaningful action,” Dr. Park said. “Rather than viewing beauty through a single lens, I focused on how naturally each contestant’s individuality aligned with a healthy, action-oriented approach to environmental issues.”

Drawing a parallel to aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Park noted that first impressions are shaped by overall balance rather than any single feature. Similarly, a natural and harmonious smile depends on the interplay of multiple elements, including tooth color, size and shape, facial structure, lip line, and overall proportions.

“Aesthetic dentistry is not simply about creating white, straight teeth; it is about enhancing each individual’s natural image and unique characteristics,” Dr. Park added. “We will continue our research and clinical efforts to provide personalized treatments that bring out each patient’s individual beauty.”

Meanwhile, the winners of Miss Earth Korea 2026 will serve as environmental ambassadors, participating in various eco-friendly initiatives and representing Korea on the global stage while pursuing active roles across a range of fields.
